We , Indians are on the sixth step of terrorism anniversary of 26/11 mumbai attack in 2008. Mumbai suffered this terrorism attack for continuous four days from 26/11 and lasted on 29/11. There were series of 12 coordinate shooting & bombing attacks throughout the 4 days of terror in the city. It was known that this attack was planned by Lashkar-E-Taiba.
The 8 attacks that were carried by the terrors in the mumbai city are as given below.
There were two more bomb explosions at Mazagaon at mumbai's port area & also in a taxi at Vile Parle. Many of Indian citizens died including foreigners in this shooting & bomb attacks held at those areas given above. Mumbai police covered all this places & made secured with the security forces but Taj Hotel was not secured at that time. The terrorists entered the Taj Hotel & made chaos by gun fires & explosions. On , 29th november , India's National Security Guards (NSG) conducted an operation to make Taj Hotel secure.
The operation carried out by the NSG was named "OPERATION BLACK TORNADO". This was carried out to flush out the remaining attackers that were remain in the Taj Hotel. Ajmal Kasab was the only attacker who was captured alive among all terrorists. Kasab was taken into custody & after interrogation it was known that the attack was supported by Pakistan Goverment's Intelligence Agency ( ISI). Ajmal kasab has been hanged till death for his 86 charges which he was convicted. He has been hanged at Yerwada Jail in Pune on 21 november 2012.
All the terrorists has arrived through coastal areas that shows the dull security of our nation at Coastal & Marine sites. Even today on the 6th eve of 26/11 terror attack the coastal & marine security is not upto the high level that is needed to show the terrors that nobody can even think About entering India through coastal areas. Due to the careless Coastal Security , terrorists entered the city & made the city under threat for 4 days continuously. This attack took the lives of around 166 peoples & made approx 300 people injured. We have lost our Police Officers as well as 2 NSG commondos, the names are given below.
The government gave the compensation of 5 lakh to those who were killed in the terror attacks & 50 thousand to those who were severely injured.

On the eve of sixth anniversary of 26/11 mumbai attack our Prime Minister of India , Narendra Modi recalled the horror of the Mumbai terror attack at the SAARC summit & stresses on the need to combat " Terrorism & Trans-National Crimes".Today, as we remember the horror of the terror attack in Mumbai in 2008, we feel the endless pain of lost lives,said Modi said at the opening of the two-day Saarc summit. Let us work together to fulfil the pledge we have taken to combat terrorism and trans-national crimes, he added. This horror attack of 26/11 in mumbai will be always there in every citizens mind. I hope that India will never be encountered with terrorism again.
